Part 1 Definitions and Explanations
A.) Variable set #1
$ /GNI per capita; The total amount of money/product a country makes in one year divided by the number of people in the country. Its telling how much money the average person should be earning in a year.
Age /Life Expectancy; The amount of years an average person can expect to live to in his or her lifetime.
Variable set #2
% People /Literacy Rate; The percent of people in a country that can read and write out of the total population.
# Children /Children per woman; The amount of children an average woman can expect to bear during her lifetime.
B.) GNI per capita gives us the perfect insight into the economic development of a country because it is the statistic of how much money an average working person will bring home to their families every year.
Life Expectancy helps us out because it shows that how long people will live with the help of the new technologies as well as nutrition and access to a doctor when needed.
Literacy rate shows how many people are educated in the country and can do secondary or tertiary jobs in the country and it also shows that there isn't poverty everywhere inside of the country because if there is poverty then the kids cannot go to school so they can help out their families.
Children per women is also affiliated with education to the point of if a woman isn't educated or doesn't marry a man that has a job, she has to have a lot of kids in order for them to work and help out the family. In core countries if you have a lot of children it is considered an economic burden so if there is a high amount of children per woman then it cannot be a very high economically developed country.
